Introduction to Makelog

Welcome to Makelog!

Makelog helps product teams better communicate what they ship to their stakeholders, internal or external.

You can use Makelog to keep an internal changelog, a public changelog, or both.

Your Internal Changelog

When you create a New Post in Makelog, you have the option to select the visibility as Internal or Public. If you select Internal, the post will be published to your internal changelog.

Your internal changelog can be found on the Home tab inside the app.

You can share your internal changelog with your teammates. By default, we assume anyone who signs up with the same domain are part of the same organization and, therefore, grant them access to your internal changelog.

Your Public Changelog

When you create a New Post in Makelog, you have the option to select the visibility as Internal or Public. If you select Public, the post will be published to your public changelog page.

Your public changelog can be found by clicking the Public Makelog button to the left of the New Post button.
